This is one of my favorite scriptures. I love this translation from the Message bible: Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline; don’t sulk under his loving correction. It’s the child he loves that God corrects; a father’s delight is behind all this. (MSG)
Try this healthy green recipe with your family as a great dish for St. Patrick’s Day
Healthy Green Chile Macaroni Recipe
1 Box of Quinoa pasta shells
1 cup of Heavy whipping cream
1 4oz can of Green Chiles
1 cup of pepper jack cheese
1/4 cup of chopped jalapeno
1/4 cup of diced onions
1/4 cup of diced red peppers
salt and Pepper
2T of MCT cooking oil
Using a large pot add the MCT or cooking oil, onion and red pepper and saute 5 mins. Add 4 quarts of water and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and return to boiling and cookin 6-9 mins. Do not overcook. Drain the pasta and rinse. Return to pan and add the heavy whipping cream, green chiles, jalapeno (optional) and pepper jack cheese. Stir until cheese is well blended and remove from heat and let stand 5 mins. To add additional colors and flavors, chopped broccoli and corn can be added.
