For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
You are not alone. God has a plan for your future. It is exciting to know that there is a plan but not know what it is. It reminds me of Christmas presents as a child and the anticipation. It is so much fun to be surprised and not always knowing what is waiting all wrapped up with a bow under the tree. Your future is full of hope and great things. The Lord has great plans for you to hold on to.
In Psalm 27:13, King David said, “I am expecting the Lord to rescue me and I will see the Lord’s goodness”. King David is showing that we must have faith and live with an expectant heart. Always know that God is with you and has a plan for you and expect to see His goodness show up and rescue you.
What are you expecting from the goodness of God? In Psalm 23:6, it states “Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life, and afterwards I will live with you forever in your home.” What a great promise for our futures. God loves you. Your future is as bright as the new flower buds of spring!
