Your Internal Peace Meter

Tackle “FEAR” and cut it off before it gets rooted in your heart. Fear is from satan who is the author of all confusion. The way to beat fear is to know the “TRUTH.” I use what I call the peace meter when determining if something is from God or satan. When you have a questionable thought, always stop and ask yourself these questions: Is this from God and does it bring me peace? Does the message line up with the Word of God? Does the thought bring fear, negative feelings or make me anxious?

God is a God of peace and love. All good things come from Him. If you PAUSE and take the time to consider each thought, you can determine the way you feel about it from your peace meter – whether it is of Him or the enemy.

Now don’t give the enemy too much credit. He can’t put thoughts in your head. He is not everywhere as God is. “From the enemy” may refer to anything not of God. It can be a thought initiated out of selfishness, out of fleshly desire, out of greed, or even as a means to try and handle things by ourselves.

The Bible says Faith comes by hearing the word of God. When you are feeling fearful fill up your peace meter with the Word and it will help soothe you and kick out your fears. The following scriptures are great to keep handy when you need to battle fear and receive the Jesus kind of Peace.

Scripture References:
Isaiah 41: 10
Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.
